PLEASE FIND SOME OF OUR MOST RECENT SUCCESSFUL MINI PILING PROJECTS

NEW HOUSING DEVELOPMENT - LEES - OLDHAM

Our piling operatives installed 200mm nominal diameter mini piles for a new large housing development at Owls Gates Lees Oldham, Lancashire.  By using a D500 tracked drop weight piling rig we were able to keep our site establishment costs to a minimum and offer a cost effective piling package.

PUMPING STATION - ALSAGAR -STOKE ON TRENT

Our Grundomat piling hammer was the obvious choice for the smaller number of 150mm nominal diameter mini piles required at a pumping station where access was restricted and minimal vibration was a prerequisite. The contract was completed well ahead of program and within budget.

INDUSTRIAL UNIT - TODMORDEN - LITTLEBOROUGH

We initially pre-cored 175mm diameter holes through a 200mm existing floor slab using a diamond core drill to enable the installation of 150mm nominal diameter mini piles for an industrial unit in Littleborough. The contract went particularly well and look forward to working again with the well regarded Rochdale Building Company.

CRANE GANTRY - INDUSTRIAL UNIT - LONDON

Our well experienced operatives successfully pre-augered prior to completing the 220mm piles by utilising a TD15000 hydraulic dual purpose drill drop weight rig. This multi purpose hybrid rig, which is essentially two rigs in one, enabled the customer to benefit from one site establishment charge as opposed to the usual double charge for two separate machines. The installation of piles caps and steel cages to cater for horizontal loading requirements completed the works

CHOICE OF PILING RIG

As our case studies show the correct choice of piling rig is essential for a successful contract. Our large comprehensive range of plant and machinery helps to ensure that the correct equipment is chosen. Our wealth of experience, specifically in the piling industry, allows us to make this considered choice and eliminate the potential problems on site with incorrect piling plant being utilised.

2013 case studies

NEW PRODUCTION FACILITY - DUMPHY ECLASTICAL - KINGSWAY ROCHDALE

Utilising our D500 drop weight rig complete with 500Kg weight enabled the installation of 60No. 220mm nominal diameter steel cased cast in situ piles. Despite the inclement weather conditions the project was completed on time and within budget confines.

BRIDGE ABUTTMENTS - CLAYTON MANCHESTER

Our Grundomat piling hammer was the preferred choice for installing 58No. 150mm diameter steel piles on either side of the river, due to the site layout and riverside restrictions.
